How to Get to Layog Country Farm

From Manila

There are many bus companies with Baguio as their destination, but we recommend you take the Victory Liner which have terminals in Pasay or Cubao in Quezon City. When you are coming from the airport, the bus terminal in Pasay is the closest one. From the airport you can take a Yellow Taxi to Victory Liner Pasay Terminal and with normal traffic flow it takes about 10 minutes from the airport to the bus terminal. There is no airport surcharge nor midnight surcharge for the taxi so it would not be costing more than150 php. The terminal is open 24 hours and the bus leaves for Baguio every hour. A bus ticket costs about 500 php and travel time is about 6 hours. You can also choose their De Luxe alternative – an express bus that is more expensive.

When in Baguio there is only one bus going to Kayan West. If you take a taxi from the Victory Liner to the Dangwa Station it will be costing you about 70php. You can find  the bus travelling to our farm from Baguio at Dangwa Station. It is the A-Trans bus with a placard Baguio-Kayan which starts at 9.00 AM.

Try to be at the bus station at around 8.30 A.M. because the bus can leave before the scheduled time if it is already full. It takes about 6 hours to travel from Baguio to Kayan West which is the end station. Marylene Pe or any of the farm assistants will come and pick you up at the end station and then you travel further to Layog Country Farm which is 4 kms. from Kayan West.

Your destination is: Layog Country Farm, Kayan Tadian, Mt. Province and your contact person is Marylene Pe. Tel. 093 92 11 86 76.

From Banaue or Sagada

There are jeepneys or busses from Banaue going from Bontoc which takes about two hours and costs about 150 php. There seem to be no fixed schedule for the trips.

If you are coming from Sagada then you take a bus or jeepney going  to Bontoc. It takes about 30 minutes.

When in Bontoc just walk or take a tricycle bringing you to the parking place of Bontoc – Cervantes van going to Cervantes. The van leaves Bontoc at 10.00 am. in the morning. This van can drop you infront of our farm gate as the drivers know where the farm is. The trip takes 1.45 minutes from Bontoc to the farm gate.

Incase you  miss this  Bontoc-Cervantes van then please take any van going to Abatan, Bauko. It is important you go to ABATAN, BAUKO, because there is another Abatan. From Abatan, Bauko then there are vans leaving 12 am, 2.00 pm and 3.00pm. going to Cervantes, Ilocus Sur. Take anyone of this and they will drop you to the farm gate.

Here is your final destination: Layog Country Farm,Kayan West, Tadian, Mt.Province.Contact person: Marylene Pe. Tel. 09392118676.
